No one wants to defend
The two people who can actually defend end up doing it every single shift, or nobody does.

AntiXchaos plans your substitutions so the pitch always holds its shape — a defender, a creator and an attacker on it at all times. Tap who showed up, and the whole game is planned in one go.
Coming soon to the App Store. iPhone, iOS 16 and later.
The Thursday problem
Nine people, one hour, no coach. Within ten minutes the game is tennis: five attackers at one end and an empty half behind them.
The two people who can actually defend end up doing it every single shift, or nobody does.
Whoever stands closest to the line goes on. The shape of the team is an accident.
Someone else plays ten, says nothing, and does not come back next week.
How it works
1
Nine came instead of twelve? Fine. Pick the format and the shift length, or keep what you used last week.
2
Every shift for the whole match: who plays, in which role, for how many minutes. Built in milliseconds.
3
The screen turns red thirty seconds before each change and names who goes on, and for whom.
Measured, not claimed
A typical squad of nine with three people who can defend, compared with rotating everyone in order — the way most apps and most teams do it.

When the plan breaks
Add them, remove them, or make your own swap — the rest of the match is rebuilt from that second, and the minutes already played are kept. If the only goalkeeper walks off, you get offered someone who can go in goal.
Joins at minute fifteen and gets priority on time for the rest of the game, without anyone losing what they already played.
Remove a player and the remaining shifts reshuffle instantly. Roles stay covered with whoever is left.
Swap anyone yourself. The app does not argue — it takes it as fact and rebuilds around it.
Every screen
One hand, a noisy hall, a game going on behind you.
